I rather dislike impatient tools that can't figure something out and get mad 'cause no one helped them in the time-frame they decided.

Wow - I came in this thread b/c I've got a '55 Johnson 5.5 (essentially the same motor) that I've rebuilt and am familiar with both repairing it and sourcing parts, but **** dude - you can go re-invent the wheel for all I care now. The information is out there - you're just either too dumb or too lazy to have found it...see how that worked out for you? Welcome to the real-world child, here endeth the lesson.
