I have a 1995 dt55 suzuki...I can't seem to get it up past 4000 rpm's....had the carbs done, compression checked, changed the plugs, replaced one of the coils....I am looking for a a suzuki mechanic in central florida if any of you know of one...I am between gainesville and ocala....thanks, and have a great weekend.....

Do you go on www.iboats.com There are a lot of very helpful guys there.

Might be helpful if you post what boat it is on and what pitch propeller the engine currently has on it.
Chances are it is simply a propeller pitch issue.
Second easy issue is the tachometer setting.....assuming you are running a tachometer.
Always check the easy stuff first before diving into the engine.
BTW - a simple Google search turns up a couple dealers in your area all the way from High Springs to Homosassa.
