The 70hp evinrude is a bullet proof motor. The lower unit is the same all the way up to 140hp. I had a 1982 70hp on 17' Invader whaler clone. With a ProPulse 4 blade prop and Doelfin foil I got a constant 3-4 NMPG. Great motors. =D> =D> =D>

That looks like a more elusive short shaft (15") engine. If so the lower unit should be unique to it. Called a "Nitro" gearcase.

What do you guys think its worth. It hasn't been started in 7 or 8 years. Gonna try to start it this weekend.
