I need to raise my motor a few inches. Is this what I need?

These mounts are typically used for trolling motor only. I wouldn't use anything larger than a 2 or 3 hp. outboard on it.

in a word no, those are usually for small "kicker" outboards on bigger boats. like what Canadian omc said they are for 2 to 6 hp. If you want to raise your motor scroll down and read the " anti ventilation plate height " thread
