I'm interested to see what the skinniest jack plate I could get for my tunnel hull might be? I have a tunnel hull and I believe the lower unit should be as close to the hull as possible.

I'd rather not unbolt the entire outboard from the transom each time I swap to my jet lower unit.

Anyone know if anything like this exists? Most of the jack plates I'm looking at are about 5" thick and I have a feeling that would sit the outboard too far back..

I guess an inch and a half if you used two 3/4" pieces of ply. I wouldn't trust one 3/4" of ply.

You use two different motors and each is a clamp on style.

You want to be able to adjust the motors for height individually?

The skiniest adjustable jack plate I've seen is three inches for about $300 from Vance.

You can build a riser that lifts the motor straight up with no set back.
