Just bought a 2001 Mariner 25M that appears to be in excellent shape for my 1448 MonArk Going to put the old 1978 15hp Johnson on the stand as a back up.
Was wondering what the correct fuel / oil ratio is for this motor (I'm assuming the standard 50:1?). With this motor being drastically different from my 78 Johnson, was wondering from someone with experience with the Merc/Mariners if there's anything in particular I have to be aware of or keep tabs on so as to prevent issues or save myself from adding to the "cuss jar". Never had a shift on throttle or anything this "new" before. Thanks for any replies.
