I've got a 1961 Johnson Seahorse 5.5 outboard (cd-18) that has a broken prop blade.

Is this something I can replace myself?

If so, can anyone point me to somewhere I can buy one online?

I am sure you can replace it yourself. Props are made to be changed out in most motors.

I know nothing about those old outboards but I am sure one of our members can help

that modle has a sher pin in it . carter pin through a nose cone . the sheer pin is under the nose cone . the pullthe prop off .it may have a nut and the sheer pin behind the prop fits in a slot .
