... just picked up an Evinrude 60hp for my tin skiff with the new transom .. since she's rated for a 60hp anyways.

This OB is a Mercury 1997 ELPTO model, 20" shaft, oil-injected electric start with power trim/tilt and I just serviced it (tune up and full waterpump service). It comes with 2 props, all new prop hardware and anodes. It is clean and mint. Newer side controls, harness and control cables included.

What is your guesstimate :?: ?

Available near Boston if you're looking for a nice 40hp. Can also ship it out on a pallet from trucking depot to trucking deport/terminal nearest you via https://www.Freightquote.com if needed.

I sold my 1996/7 Evinrude 40 hp motor last year for $1500. It had PTT, the VRO was disconnected but could have been put back easily. It was also a really clean, low usage motor with a mint condition prop and control/cables.

In the beginning of last year, I sold my '89 Johnson 40hp. It had power T&T and was in very good condition. I sold it for $1150. For that motor I'd go no less than $1500, probably start at $1850 or so.

Good luck!
