1989 Evenrude 20 hp conversion to 35 hp part compatibility

Hey guys, I know and have read several threads on this but none clearly states about my specific year range. I have a 1989 Evenrude tracker long shaft 20 hp, that I want to upgrade to a 35 hp. I have researched and have looked at the OEM part numbers until I am blue in the face. I apologize if I have overlooked a thread where it was stated, but I did notice that after 1988 the carb part numbers made a dramatic change. I also understand that I will need to give some attention to the intake, as my 20hp is restricted. Anyone who can chime in and tell me for sure what years the carbs and intakes that are compatible with my 1989 Evenrude would be greatly appreciated. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) #-o

I also have 25 HP mine is a 77 and when looking into the conversion the only thing I noticed was a change in exhaust same carb and intake.
