Hey
I just got a new to me 2006 15hp Mercury 4stroke. I notice that the only water intake is under the ACP. Why is this and how does this affect how high I can raise the motor? Right now I have the ACP in line with the bottom of hull but I'm still getting a little spray. Any help is appreciated.

The acp is right where it's supposed to be. If you haven't got it trimmed all the way down try that. Should be a 1,2,3 on the side. Check and see if its in the 1 position. If not put it in the 1 position. After you change the setting you have to tilt the engine all the way up then back down for the new setting to apply.
