Tilt trim for 96 Evinrude 35 Jet

I'm retrofitting PTT to my 1996 Evinrude 35 Jet and was wondering why the part numbers changed o ER the years. It looks like the latest model was 0438135. Did they get faster? I've heard there was a fast track and that's what I need. Just wondering if that was the case with the smaller motors as well. Thanks.

The Fast Track mid-section referred to is for the larger engines. That family of engines did indeed get a complete new mid section and a trim system that was noticeably quicker.

I ended up getting a cylinder and motor off a 93 engine. Is the speed pretty much the motor? Just wondering if I bought a new motor if that would speed up the lift rate.
