Guy at the tire shop gave me an old 20 hp Johnson, looks decent Mod number is 20 R 70 C serial C 39099 looked up on the net, got as an ans that it was a 1970 model,,,been cleaning it up in my basement, prop had a hard life its a 9X10 size looks kinda smallish for that kind of HP,wondering if its the proper size for that motor,,,cant complain tough (ya dont look a gift horse in the mouth) havent fired it up yet,(emptied my barrell of water, winter is creeping up on us in this neck of the woods )but buddy says it still runs...will find out in the spring, any info on the prop size would be appreciated.

Perhaps it was used on a pontoon boat? Prop sounds very small. My 20hp mariner came with a 13P x 10.375"

The factory prop on the late 70's to early 90's 9.9/15 hp OMCs was 9 1/2 x 10 for what it's worth.
