Would like to move my 6 gal tank to the front footwell of my 12ft Monark. This would require a new longer fuel line and reading the posts on here I need to replace my Attwood line asap before it starts breaking down! My question is: would there be a fuel delivery issue with the length being ~10ft from the front of the second bench seat to the 8hp Johnson?
Thanks.

Try it. Shortening it until the fuel filler stays full at WOT is what I always done. The smaller the fuel pump the shorter the hose needs to be

ensure the squeeze bulb is hanging as vertical as possible. (with arrow up).
ensure all clamps are tight and don't leak air.
ensure any of the line you re-use is clear of any kind of internal delamination.
ensure the new line is SAE J1527 compliant (available at your auto parts store).

I ran both an old two line 18hp line and a single line 40hp with 14 ft of hose and never had a problem.
