Yamaha 5hp Reed Valve Gasket

Hoping we have a small engine expert here.

I have a 2000 Yamaha 2 stroke 5hp motor and I just did a carb kit on it but I obviously wasn't paying attention when I took it apart.
I removed the reed valve block as I got a new gasket for it but the new oem Yamaha one has a small bead of silicone only on one side if it. My question is should the face with the silicone on it go against the reed valve housing or against the power head?

Called a local dealer and they said to have the gasket face with the silicone bead against the power head so I'm all good.
