These 3 motors appear to use the same block. Is there anything beside maybe a larger carb on each size up that makes more hp. Can a 4 hp be turned into a 6 hp? If so how do you do it? Thanks in advance for your help.

What years? I have a 98 4hp merc and often wonder the same.
