I have a 1996 Evinrude 15 HP 4Stroke on a 14 foot tin. The engine right now has a 9 X 11 Pitch on it right now. I just bought everything last fall and haven't even ran it yet. Prop is a little beat up so id like to change it. Not sure to stay with the 11 P 3 blade or go down to a say 4 blade 9 P.

Any experience would be greatly appreciated. I have tons of experience with bigger motors none with these little motors.

You will like the 4 blade 9". They work well. You WILL lose some top speed, but maybe 1 or 2 mph at the most. But you gain a lot more in the mid range and holeshot. Stays on plane at lower RPM, planes off quicker, runs shallower, runs in rough chop better, smoother running, etc.
