I'm looking for a new motor for my 12 foot Gregor. I'm thinking of something between an 8 - 10 hp. Curious what recommendations you might have? My thoughts are the simpler the better. Thanks, John

If you're going brand new, go with the make that your closest reputable dealer sells. Really can't go wrong with any of the new ones. If you're on a budget like me and don't mind an older 2 smoke, get a 9.9 johnnyrude.

Those boats are nice boats!
I would also look for a Johnson or Evinrude 9.9hp. Great engines and pretty much bulletproof.
