My boat has the Yamaha 703 remote control lever installed. I want to replace the fast idle cable and the throttle cable because they are old and seem to bind up easily and are hard to move. Would the following part work to replace both of these cables?

Also, do you think this will help with the stiff movement of those two parts or is it something inside the control box that would cause this? I seen a screw that is supposed to let you adjust the tension in the throttle lever, but I couldn't tell any difference when I turned it.
