Would it be a problem to run a motor in sub freezing temps? I am fishing this weekend and i will be pretty cold in the morning but get up to about 50 during the day. I just don't want to blow up my motor.

I have a 1986 Suzuki DT15 15HP motor.

Thanks
Eric

I ran mine the weekend before last when it was 17 degrees.

Make sure that you keep the lower unit in the water and you should be fine. Let the water completely drain from the lower unit when you head home, also.

thanks...I'm sure it will be alright. I'm going out tomorrow morning and then I have a tourney on Sat. I hope the fish are biting :D
