Hello to everybody!

I have a 25hp 1992 yamaha tiller control outboard. I am planning to built a central console on my jon boat. Does anybody knows if I can convert the tiller to remote steering on my outboard ? If yes, which part do I need? [-o<
The engine number is G25MSHQ

Sorry I never saw this post. Yes you can do it. You will need the remote and cables. You will need the end that the steering linkage goes into, and that should bolt on to the arm of the motor. Also you will need a steering cable and helm. I'll see if I can get a better description of the part.
 
You can use stick steering on this, that way there would be no need for a big counsel getting in the way, look on ebay i think they are called easy glider or something that.
