Had to google "shed hunting", I had no idea what you were talking about.....sounds cool and interesting. I like the fact that no animals are harmed or killed in this form of hunting 8) I havent found any sheds, but I did find a big turtle shell the other day. Thats gotta count for something :LOL2:
 
right on...it counts. I don't think turtles drop their shell every season like bucks but still a cool find. Here in Illinois, antlers start to fall off in numbers throughout February. They don't last long as the mice and other critters eat them for nutrition. Gives a hunter a good idea of what bucks are around his hunting land.
 
I hope to get out and find some elk sheds in the middle of April during my spring bear hunt.
 
I thought you guys were talking about tool sheds! Sounds like a fun hobby might have to take my boys out to the wildlife reserve and give it a go.
