I have made my own umbrella rigs - the same thing but larger

This is on my "list" of things to try to do this winter. It seems like it might be inexpensive to just buy the umbrella part and then make the rest. I found a tutorial online with pictures here: https://www.tidalfish.com/forums/showthread.php/273936-How-to-make-a-cheep-umbrella-rig
I wanted to try making one completely from scratch using 3 overlapping pieces of a coat-hangar soldered together, but it seems like a lot of work for the project when you can buy that part for about 5 bucks.
