I make my own hardbody lures, manly from cedar, my favorite part of making them is the airbrushing paint work, I use createx water based paints, & finish them in a epoxy clear coat,,cheers ,,jayson

What type of fish is that in the 1st photo? Looks like an oyster cracker - but I am sue it is not

thats an australian flathead, grows to over 1m long, but anything over 750mm In Queensland has to go back, they are good eating too,,

Here is a SW fish that we get inshore -called an Oyster Cracker

Not good eating but they sure look close!

I cut them out with a scroll saw, shape them with a flapper disc & drum sander on a dremel, & finish off with sand paper,,cheers ,,jayson
 
You do some really nice work. I always wanted to try that but something always has priority. One day.

I really like the look of the last one in wood grain.
