hey guys i just got a fish finder from a friend and i have never used one. it has a hull thru transducer. i was wondering if it will work thru the aluminum haul and if so what is the best way to mount it? thanks for any help.

is it through hull or shoot through hull? Shoot through transducer is just glued to the bottom inside the boat. The through hull requires that you drill a hole through the hull. If this is the case make sure you use a good sealant like 3M 5200 or 4200

It's a shoot thru I just wasn't shure if it will work thru aluminum.or how to mount it right
