well I took it out for the weekend and it has to be the coolest toy for the boat. I could see at least 15 to20 feet clearly( our lake is like tap water). Did not try it at night though when I do I'll
let you know how the lights work. I could even see a perch take the bait. In my opinion it is a must have if you ever take kids fishing and they are not very sitill as it will keep them quiet. the camera did not spook the fish either.

I use one when I go ice fishing all the time. Great tool. I brought it along whe I was perch fishing once but never saw any perch. It was pretty cool to watch the bottom as I drifted along though. Plan on bringing it salmon fishing one of these days and connect it to my downrigger line to watch the coho take the lure. I hear Coho will come right up into the prop was to take a lure in the spring. Wish I had the right equipment to be able to record it.
