I really didn't know that anything as simple and inexpensive as this existed. The only prior disconnect that I had used was the big red Perko canister that mounted on the transom. I don't have room for that on this boat.

For $12.00 bucks, having the ability to fully disconnect everything on the boat is a great deal. I bought two of them, one for each battery.

I have also been warned to wire the automatic bilge pump to the battery BEFORE this cutoff device. richg99
