I'm in the process of converting my tiller to remote steering. I'm looking for a used side console. The absolute best case scenario would find me one of these but anything along these lines will work: https://static.visionamp.org/rubix/20150716/orig_e84031553a8ba6a49f0ba1ffd2aacae8b1b5cd5b.jpg

Let me know what you have! Also, soon to be for sale... Yamaha F25 tiller assembly.

Yeah, I have an uncle who is a welder, and depending on material prices that might be the way to go. But i thought I would throw it out here in case someone has one laying around from an old boat or something.

Just doing a little "trolling" for a deal [-o<

See this post here: https://forum.tinboats.net/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=36465 I bought the "top" of a console off eBay for $50 and then built a base for it out of plywood and aluminum angle. Worked out great!

Having just purchased a lot of sheet aluminum for a deck extension I can accurately say there is probably less than $120 in material and 8 hours work with a table saw and a tig welder to make the one in Ops picture.
