Fished from 2 till dark yesterday... Caught 2 nice smallies ...1 in 3 range and 1 in 4 range... Had couple more LM in 2 to 21/2 range caught several more smaller fish... Lost a really nice LM on shallow crankbait... all in all pretty good day caught everything on shallow crankbait on wind blown banks ... shad all over these banks... sorry no pics forgot camera... water temps have dropped about 4 degrees on Barkley Lake due to cold front and shorter days I'm thinking it won't rise anymore Fishing should start really picking up on shallow cranks now... 08/24/09.... Went agin from 1:30 till dark yesterday afternoon ... tuff fishin ...tried everthing ...did manage 4 keepers best lil better than 3...had 4 bites pretty good catch ratio ... all on crankbaits in 6 t0 7 feet.... water temps down to 78 79 almost 10 degrees in a week and lake had dropped almost a foot wouldn't think theyd start the winter pull down this early ..,must had some heavy rains down south what i figure...Going agin weds God willing...You all have a great day God be with you all...JIGGY
