Fished last night in great conditions (but man it was cooooold!!!) out on the lake. Managed to snag a big old bat in my line to start with - arrrgh, i hate them things

After several misses I hook up with this Jr. freight train of a fish which dumped some drag before we got it to the net


My 1st ever Wiper - another species off the list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I caught it on a swim bait (Shadalicious) so no hook ripping out - it did not hit as hard as a pure striper, they hit HARD!

The bat was in the water when the photo was taken
