This morning I went out to a local public pond for a little ragin action and caught 5. 4 were in between 1lb and 2lbs but the biggest was this girl who fell for a secret bait! LOL

Pond is actually not that clear, but I have noticed that most bass out of it are lighter in color!

i used to fish a very dirty creek the bass were almost white,and the bass i catch on very clear lake martin have a very dark color to them.
how are the bites on the rage crawl. soft dead weight or hard licks?

Most of the time they hammer them, but I have had many soft nothing there bites! Most of the time those come on the initial fall, and you know it should still be falling but isn't. Reel down and set it hard!

i have found the darker/muddier the water, the light the fish. And the clearer the water the darker the fish.
