Mercury Big Tiller Handle.

Bought a mercury 60/40 and it runs great. Only thing is is that I hate having to reach for the ignition and gear shift on the standard tiller handle. When I purchased it I never once looked to see if they had a big tiller like the yammies. After seeing how much they're online I thought about doing a center console conversion right behind the front deck. Wondering if anyone has done this on here. Wanting to compare the cost of the big tiller handle which is about $900 and the cost of the center console conversion. I would be doing all of the welding and rigging myself. Just needing someone that has done to show me its worth it. lol

Has anyone bought the steering cables or hydraulic ones for a newer 60/40 Mercury? What part number or which one would I need?
