looking at adding a 70's 4hp Mercury kicker motor to my boat for a back up motor and to troll for walleye.

I never looked or lissened to a 70's 4 hp mercury so I have a few questions.

- does it have a tilt on it (can it be tilted up and stay up?) I know some little motors cant be tilted up and stay tilted, so that is why Im asking.

- Does it idle down pretty good?

- how much does this motor weigh?

Im looking at this motor because it is the smallest motor that still has the twist grip throttle. I know some of the newer motor have it but I dont want to buy new.

Id rather get a 4 hp johnson/ evinrude but I dont think there motors have a twist grip throttle on it.

I just wanted to ask before I started looking for this motor. What would be a fair price?
