I wear shades and a wide brimmed hat.

First rule of fishing with Dan is don't hook the Scoutmaster.
 
Ouch! Makes my right eye hurt. I got slammed square in the eye with a 1.5 oz Hopkins spoon when I was 15. Concussion, my pupil is permanently stuck.
 
I wear sunglasses and some kind of hat all the time. When I was a kid my uncle told me that if I was fishing with anything with trebles that I should wear a hat so if the lure dislodges from the fish I can duck my hat.
