Hiya. New here. Visited a few times when I was dreaming. I'm 35 and can't remember a time when I hadn't known how to fish or had a pole in my hand.
Grew up in the salt but fell in love with the bayou.
Became a proficient bass guy but got bored with it chasing trophies. Now I strictly fish for sacalait year 'round.
Everything I have fished out of that I have owned slid in the back of a pickup and has either been carried or drug through the woods for my fishing. From there I sculled with a paddle 90% of the time or used a trolling motor. Have actually become very good at it where I fish, tying my own jigs.
Time to move forward. I have a son bighting at creek mouths and motivated. Figured no better time to teach what I know, but better in the more conventional ways.
Picked up a boat and hope to situate it as I know with my carry alongs. Hope to learn bunches.
Its's 1992 Weldcraft. The motor I've sat on for years is a '73 rude 9.5, whi he'll need work.
New to the whole motorized conventional game and'll appreciate any and all help given or offered.
