Finally got a boat! Needs some work, but the price was right. Steelflex is already here, but plan on a little painting first. One of the questions I was hoping to get some insight for is what to do about possible pitting behind the old transom? Judging from the looks of the old bolts in previous transom, the wood was pressure treated. There's a few pinholes that I could throw some jb weld on, but can I seal the back with something other than primer and paint?https://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/577e55ccec921/20160629_140421.jpg
