1970-ish 14ft Ouachita Conversion

I am new to the forum. Let me first start by saying that it is a pleasure to join! I have always dreamed of owning a bass boat but couldn't afford one. I almost spent a lot of money on a boat that truthfully I shouldn't have thought about buying for so many different reasons. But God is good and he blessed me with a Jon boat that was sitting in the back yard of a family member's home that was growing plants and rats for over 30 years. He offered the boat to me for free but I was still skeptical b/c of the work that would be involved. But.....IT WAS GIVEN TO ME FOR FREE.....seats and all! So I thought what the heck, I might as well go for it! The accompanying 18 hp Evinrude hadn't been started in over 30 years either, now it purrs like a kitten! Did I mention that the motor was given to me for free as well! I spent maybe 3 months top reworking the trailer (free!) and boat. Here are a few pictures. God has trul been good to me!

That's nice man. Can't beat free. God looks out for us whether we realize it or not.
