Help! Trying to Repair Cracked Aluminum on V-bottom hull Duratech rowboat. The 12 foot Veeline Utility boat has a eight inch long crack along the bottom front of the "V". Similar to boat pictured. What is the best material to repair the Aluminum? Thank you.

This item has been discussed many, many times. If you start squeezing junk into the orifice, the inevitable welding is going to cost you many times more than leaving it alone.

Do it right, do it first. Go have it welded. IMHO.

yep get it welded,,,, own a weld shop,,,,if ya was to bring it in to our shop to have it welded, would probably charge our minimum charge of $30 if it were all cleaned up and ready to weld,, best to drill a small 3/16 hole on each end of the crack to help stop the crack,,,, do the prep work your self and save your self some money
