I would like to start off by saying I have always had tiller steer. I just recently put a new floor and center console in my 1652 weldbilt. My console is only 18" wide, what type of steering or steering kit would you guys recommend? I am putting a 2000 model 60/40 jet remote steer on the boat. I have nothing but the motor and the boat sitting ready.
Thanks

Standard steering you don't need hydraulic or nothing like that. Whatever steering that motor would come with for prop will work

You should be able to use the Teleflex Safe-T quick connect setup. I have a 19" wide console and there is room to run it down and out the side. You just need to measure the length for the cable.

Amk, I've sent you a PM.

Ok NFB Rotary or normal rotary steering? 2014 Mercury 60/40 jet.

Thanks
