When I do ribs it has always been the low and slow method (225 degrees for me). St Louis style ribs usually take 5 to 5 1/2 hours for me. I was looking at some high heat, shorter cook time recipes, stumbled on this one and just finished my 3rd cook this weekend. I never wrapped ribs before, but you do with this recipe. This one takes 3 1/2 hours.

This is now my wife's favorite rib recipe.

When cooking for just the wife and I on Sundays we always make enough for 2 meals. The "missing" ribs were wrapped, sauced and put in the fridge. I will put them in the oven at 325 for an hour or so for a weekday supper.

These ribs sound like they would be super sweet or greasy from the butter, but they are not.
