Hello everyone. I’m about to take the plunge again and makeover a new-to-me 14’ riveted Valco. Plans for the boat are:
-Front and rear decks.
-As many storages as possible.
-Atlas hydraulic micro jacker.
-Sub floor, floatation, electronics, live well, bla bla bla. The usual.

I will be having some questions as I go but it’s sure to be a fun time! Photos to start coming in soon.

Trying to remember how to post photos here.

Nice boat Flat_Bottom! I just recently picked up one also and am in the process of redoing it myself. I'm sure it will take me some time, as I have 2 little girls, 6 and 2, and they take up lots of my free time

I have a quick question. My boat doesn't have the "certification plate" showing capacity limits. Does yours have one? If so, could you take a picture and post it? I've been searching the net and haven't found anything concrete.

Thanks and I'll be following your build.

Hope you have a blast with this! I have the 1976 U13 12’6” Valco. It’s small enough to car top since the Valcos are so light and can also handle pretty rough water! I’ve revamped mine 2x now and itching for a 3rd.

Can’t wait to see what you come out with!
