Having moved back to Knoxville after being exiled to Atlanta for the past seven years, I'm really looking forward to my first bowfishing season in years. I used to to a lot of bowfishing during the month of May and now I've had the gear ready for months. The place where I do most of my bowfishing needs a lake level of 812 feet to put the water in the weeds where the carp and gar spawn and the lake level is just a few inches short of that now. I'm hoping to get into some of the grass carp (my biggest is a 27-pounder) that I got before I left for Atlanta. Do we have any other bowfishermen in the Knoxville, Tennessee area?

There is a lot of good fishing down there from what I hear. Glad to see we will have someone else posting in this forum. There are only a few of us on tinboats that bowfish 8)
