Yet another move closer to Ahab!!!
Im pretty sure this tv is on its last leg and is unfix-able, but id still like to know whats up. A few months ago mom put a new picture lamp in it and for a little bit it was good, then this starts happening.

Photo was taken with the cable box off and power going only to the tv, anyone have any idea of whats happening?

"Be wary of burn-in. Plasma TVs often experience "burn-in" or "ghosting" during normal usage. This happens when a static image is left on the TV for a long period, and remnants of that image are slightly visible after it is gone. To prevent this phenomenon, do not pause DVDs for more than 20 minutes or play video games that show the same image for long periods."
