I left my sansdisk mp3 player in my pocket and threw it in the wash without knowing, anybody have any ideas on how to dry it out and salvage it, or is it D.O.A?

Taking the battery out of my phone and letting it sit in a bowl of uncooked rice overnight worked for me. I don't know why it wouldn't work with an mp3 player.

This might be to late, but dont turn it on untill you think it has completly dried out. My wife used to work for a pager co. and usually if it was left to dry on its own without being turned on the pagers would come back to life.

My son's cell phone was washed in his pants pocket and it was fine in a couple of days.
