Hey Guys, heading down south for vacation this Saturday, and wondering what kind of fishing we should try to do. I may take a half day charter with Cpt. Tom Chaya, but results lately dont seem too positive when I spoke with him yesterday. Cold fronts, etc.

Anyone have any other advice? Surf fishing? Inlets?

Just looking to catch some fish!!
 
Fish the beach early in the morning...
Throw something like a Rapala x-rap in bluesardine color into the surf wash...
...then just holdon for the ride

I use 12lb main line w/ 25lb leader
