I redid my previous build due to some support framing rot. It's not a huge difference than the old one. I just did some things differently as well as added some things. Not as fancy as some of the builds on here, but it works for me.
Previous Build - https://www.tinboats.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18934
1. The deck was raised up a little to make it almost level to the front. The previous build was more level with the benches. It turned out just a hair higher than I had wanted. But it will work. I also added some vents on the deck.
2. The hatches are smaller and I also added a hatch just for the trolling motor battery.
3. I made a non-slip pad using a rubber mat and plywood for the bottom of the TM pedal. Works great.
4. New switch box with a fuse block inside, instead of the pre-made switch panel I had before. More control over each circuit and easier to add on if needed. The wiring is also a lot more neat than before. I also added a digital voltmeter that tells me the voltage of each battery.
5. Added 12V and USB ports in middle of the boat. Will be nice to have for my portable livewell/handheld spotlight and to charge my phone.
6. Charger is in a better location and now I don't have to open the hatch to charge the batteries. I added an AC port. I also added a couple of small LED light strips to the interior as well.
7. Added a RAM mount to the front and now I'm using separate red/green NAV lights for better visibility. The RAM mount ball is for mounting an LED lightbar. Will be nice to have for flathead fishing at night in those narrow sloughs. I always wanted to have some sort of headlights, but wanted something that was easily removable.

Really like the RAM mount for the LED bar & the rubber mat anti-skid backing for the TM pedal. Definitely copying you on both of those!
I have a marriage license and a fishing license, but I only carry one in my wallet.

Just tried out the lightbar last night in some back water sloughs and I must say that I was blown away. I could see everything in front of me very well. Highly recommended.
