Hello. Looking at buying a 1969 Starcraft 16' boat. Will use it primarily for crabbing and would like to have more open space to fit crab pots. It has slots for four bench seats. One of brackets does not have reinforcing brackets. A couple of questions:
1. Should each of the seats have supporting brackets? If so how hard is it to find or replace the brackets?
2. Can you leave one of the bench seats out and not install them? Would this hurt the structural integrity of the boat? or have any other impacts? If you leave one out which would have the least impact to structural integrity?
