Great idea!
So here's what I've been doing lately to alleviate cabin fever.
The "BRUTE" Casts a country mile and comes through the thick stuff just as good if not better than the Spro.
Balistar wieght incorperated and on occassion when it does land on it's back, a quick pop of the rod tip and it uprights itself.
There's a recessed eyelet installed on the back, as well as a grove for the hook to lay in w/a hook keeper clip installed. Once a load is placed on the hook it releases from the clip. The side hooks of the treble are weedless due to the bulge in the belly area. Walks the dog and skims across the water suface in a straight line w/the butt end centermeters below the surface. Not bad for a spur of the moment idea w/nothing but a pocket knife for whittling, a piece of sandpaper and a cordless drill. :D
