    In Search of Monster Walleye

Some friends and I have an annual trip to the Bay of Quinte in Ontario. The fall is the time when the big ones come in from Lake Ontario and put on the feed. We didn't find the HUGE ones, but we found a few nice ones. We typically trolled in waters than ranged in the 25 to 50 foot range...

    Hatch help

I built a hatch at the bow of my boat... https://www.tinboats.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28061 Not quite the same setup, but mine is really sturdy. I'd be concerned about stability...hard to see from your design if it could hold a lot of weight or not. Good luck!

I haven't decided quite yet...likely portable. There are plenty of trips I take for bigger fish that I have no intention of keeping, so it would be great to leave it out of the boat. For the days perching with my daughter, or targeting Kawartha walleye, I'd bring it along... Still thinking of...

No fastners...the framing fits snugly between the middle and front bench so it cant move around when towing or boating. I can't remember the exact adhesive, but the guy at Lowe's (where I got the marine grade carpeting) handed me a tub of stuff to use on it... Boat is stored in the garage...it...

Hey there everyone! I have looked through this site extensively and thought it would be a good place to finally sign up and post a little. I'm from Toronto, Canada, and an addicted fisherman! I have no favourite single species, but you can find me standing on a riverbank catching steelhead...

Post a Pic of your boat!

Hey there jigngrub...you think that's a good idea for the livewell? LOL Those muskies taste great if you have the right recipe and and a big ole 50" can feed a family of 4 for a week! :LMFAO: Yes, the middle bench is still there, but I plan on leaving it filled with that nasty foam...
