I am trying to cover/fill the seam between my new front casting deck and the gunwale (gunnel). The purpose is to keep water from entering the hull AND provide impact protection at the dock. I've tried using a piece of 1-1/2 rope but it is not holding up well. Thought about the round, foam pipe...
