thanks turbotodd..I'll check valve clearance too..changed plugs still no good fire/spark gonna work on the points and condenser..my friend that is helping me ...well he has been tied up a lot so maybe he'll be able to help me more after Sept.again thanks for the help.

Ok..i cheked the plugwires and swapped them.still doesn't hit..so i'm still trying...thanks guys for the help ..

Ok if the walls are still good and i can get by with a good honing ,then what, get some over size rings.surely that should'nt be too expensive..

i hear ya Johny..i,'m gonna do it myself ..have a machine shop bore it out, idk whats the norm 30 over.buy new rings/pistons i guess lap the valves kinda like rebuilding a go cart/lawn mower motor sound like a good challenge to me unless it to expensive.

K..i never thought about the plugs wires being crossed.thanks I'll check that and get back to ya.. i wonder how much would it would cost to rebuild this motor..prolly more than its worth.idk

i hear ya,we checked the compression and it had like 60/65 this may be the problem..i know what you are talkin bout Shawn ...this motor is immaculate but it wont hit a lick :cry:

I have a B-75 Honda 4 stroke that will not crank I can't get it to even hit a little by spraying carb cleaner directly into the cylinder or into the carb.it's getting a good spark on both plugs so my only conclusion is low compression.My question is, what is good enough compression to crank and...
